The Tamiya Jun Watanabe Hornet is making a return in July

Jun Watanabe is a well known Japanese fashion designer who is famous for his bright and off the wall creations.

The purple, pink and black dotted design first appeared on a special edition Reebok Fury training shoe and one off Smart Car exhibited at the Sonic Art Festival in Niigata, Japan.

Now Jun Watanabe has teamed up with Tamiya to produce this very limited edition version of the iconic Hornet model sporting the polka dot design.

The kit comes with new purple plastic chassis parts, pink tyres, black wheels and a large sticker sheet to recreate this design.

Standard white wheels and black tyres are also included.

The Hornet by Jun Watanabe is sure to be a hit with Tamiya collectors worldwide.
